Real-time Polling and Visualization

Experience Design, Information Architecture

Launched in conjunction with the televised 2012 Presidential debates, Votestream is a polling, and visualization application. A real-time sentiment measurement web app, Votestream allows administrators to hold remote viewing sessions to test and evaluate messaging, speeches, and any number of other events. The Votestream dashboard displays a real-time visualization of user sentiment as it fluctuates from user input. The number one goal of the application was to create a sign-in and polling interface with as little friction to use as possible. For its beta launch, Votestream was used by over 1,000 remote users during the third and final Presidential debate.
