Memorial Day weekend is widely considered the unofficial start of summer, and this one was particularly special.

I had the distinct honor and pleasure to be asked by my sister, Lisa, and her husband, Drew, to make some portraits of them ahead of the arrival of their first child. We battled the heat and humidity of a swampy DC afternoon to beat the threat of afternoon storms, finding some nice locations in Old Town Alexandria.
